How we built Astra AI a Slack agent that runs PPC across 30+ markets
Astra AI runs performance marketing campaigns across more than 30 markets at once. At that scale, campaign management, performance monitoring, and creative organization stop being tasks a small team can carry by hand.
The team needed something that lived where they already worked, could act directly on ad platforms, and could tell them which markets were worth pushing and which needed to slow down.
So we built an agent into Astra AI's existing Slack, gave it access to their ad platforms, analytics, and file storage, and let it run the repetitive parts of the work on its own.
One chatbot, three ad platforms
The agent lives directly in Slack as a chatbot. The team asks it to edit or add campaigns, and it acts on Meta, TikTok, and Google Ads directly, without anyone opening a separate ads dashboard.
It is also connected to PostHog, so it can read market-level performance and flag which markets are worth pushing harder and which are worth slowing down, instead of the team pulling that read manually market by market.
Alongside the ad platforms, it has access to Google Drive, where it organizes creative files and keeps them correctly named, so nothing gets lost across 30-plus markets of assets.
“We used to spend hours setting things up in Meta Ads and every other platform. Now it just happens on its own, and we get to focus on the creative work instead.”
A Meta autopilot that publishes on its own
The second part of the system is a Meta autopilot that runs on cron jobs. On schedule, it finds new creative, renames it, crops it to Meta's 4:5 ad format, and publishes and launches it in Meta Ads, end to end without anyone touching it.
That closes the loop between producing a creative and having it live in an ad set, work that used to be manual and repetitive across every one of the 30-plus markets Astra AI operates in.

All data shown is adapted for use in this case study.
Result: a faster, clearer operation
Creatives published per day
Before the agent, output was limited by manual setup. After deploy, the autopilot took over publishing.
30+
markets running on the same agent
20+ h
saved for the PPC team every week
100+
creatives published by the autopilot every week
Campaign changes now happen inside Slack instead of a rotation of ad platform tabs. The agent edits and adds Meta, TikTok, and Google campaigns directly, and reads PostHog to tell the team which of the 30-plus markets deserve more budget and which don't.
Creative files stay organized and correctly named in Google Drive automatically, and the Meta autopilot takes a new creative all the way from file to a live, running ad on its own schedule, with no manual steps in between.
